The ENVE MOG exists at the intersection of engineering discipline and rider ambition. MOG — simultaneously a noun, a verb, an acronym, and a state of mind — describes the act of pushing distance and terrain limits without compromise. The ENVE MOG frame was designed to support exactly that: go fast, in confidence, over whatever surface you choose.

Frame and Geometry
The ENVE MOG uses a carbon fiber frame tuned specifically for 700c wheels — no flip chips, no alternate wheelsize configurations. That decision reflects a performance-first philosophy: geometry optimized for one configuration produces more predictable handling than multi-position compromises.
Six frame sizes span the lineup, with three distinct fork rakes distributed across the size run. Most gravel brands offer one or two rake options regardless of frame size. ENVE’s approach ensures that small and large riders experience equivalent handling characteristics rather than accepting geometry drift at the extremes.

The 27.2mm round seat tube accepts ENVE’s carbon seatpost, the ENVE G Series Dropper Seatpost, or third-party options — a practical decision that preserves rider flexibility without requiring proprietary hardware.
Tire clearance runs 40mm to 50mm. Running 40s prioritizes speed and mud clearance. Running 50s shifts the balance toward traction, volume, and compliance over rough surfaces.
IN-Route System and Cable Management
The ENVE MOG uses ENVE’s IN-Route system for full internal cable and hose routing. Beyond aesthetics, internal routing reduces aerodynamic drag — a measurable benefit at gravel race pace. A retention strap inside the downtube secures hoses and cables against the inner wall, preventing movement-related noise and wear. The strap is accessible by removing the Cargo Bay door, keeping maintenance straightforward.
The cockpit continues this approach. The handlebar is an ENVE Aero IN-Route Carbon at 38cm width. The stem — ENVE IN-Route Aero Road Carbon, 90mm x 7° — integrates with the same routing architecture, keeping the front end clean.
Cargo Bay Storage System
The ENVE MOG includes ENVE’s Cargo Bay, a modular in-frame storage system built into the downtube. Total capacity is 36 cubic inches. Two neoprene Cargo Bags ship with the bike and can be run simultaneously — one oriented upward, one downward within the downtube. The neoprene construction protects stored items and eliminates rattle under load. The system handles flat repair kit, nutrition, or small tools without requiring external frame bags for shorter efforts.
Drivetrain and Brakes
The 2023 ENVE MOG Red AXS build runs SRAM’s top-tier electronic gravel groupset. Shifting is handled by SRAM Red AXS electronic shifters paired with a SRAM Red XPLR AXS rear derailleur — designed specifically for gravel’s wider range demands. The cassette is a SRAM Force AXS XG-1271 XPLR, 10-44t, providing a usable range across climbs and high-speed descents on a 1×12 drivetrain.
The crankset is a SRAM Red AXS Quarq power meter, 40t chainring, 170mm crank arms. Note from the master mechanic: power meter functionality, battery life, and calibration accuracy are not guaranteed on CPO builds, and activation fees may apply.
Braking is SRAM Red AXS hydraulic disc, with 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear thru-axle spacing.
Wheels and Tires
The ENVE MOG ships on ENVE AG23 carbon tubeless-compatible wheels with ENVE hubs. The bike ships tubeless-ready. AG23 rims balance aerodynamic efficiency with the impact resistance demands of gravel riding.
Build Summary
At 18 lbs 3 oz for the 54cm, this ENVE MOG build delivers a lightweight platform without sacrificing structural integrity for aggressive gravel use. The CPO unit shows light scratches on the rear shifter, crank arms, and rear derailleur — expected wear on a ridden example. Original MSRP was $13,500.
Frequently Asked Questions
What tire clearance does the ENVE MOG support? The ENVE MOG supports 700c tires from 40mm to 50mm width. The geometry is developed and tuned exclusively for 700c — no flip chips or alternate wheel sizes are required or supported.
What makes the ENVE MOG’s cable routing system different? The ENVE MOG uses ENVE’s IN-Route system, routing all cables and hoses internally through the frame and cockpit. A retention strap inside the downtube prevents movement and noise. The system reduces aerodynamic drag while keeping maintenance accessible via the Cargo Bay door.
What is the ENVE MOG Cargo Bay? The Cargo Bay is a modular in-frame storage system integrated into the ENVE MOG downtube with 36 cubic inches of capacity. Two neoprene Cargo Bags ship with the bike and can be configured in tandem within the downtube, designed for flat repair supplies, nutrition, and small tools.
