PRIVATEER AND FOX: COLLABORATION FOR SUCCESS BICYCLE

Through close collaboration with Fox, every Privateer 161 bike and frameset is equipped with a custom-tuned Float X2 shock to optimize performance with our A-L-P Suspension platform. At the onset of the stroke, the suspension is sensitive and supple. It offers a coil-like feel, even with an air shock. Across all gears, there’s exceptional pedal support. The bike remains stable under braking. It provides ample bottom-out resistance, enabling aggressive riding in various conditions. With the smaller 27.5-inch wheels, you get added agility. This results in, needing less effort to change direction swiftly. Thanks to our flip-chip system, you can switch between wheel sizes seamlessly, maintaining the bike’s geometry and balance. This means you can enjoy the advantages of both full 29er or the bigger wheel up front, smaller wheel in the back setup without making concessions.
